First Snow in Five Years in Shanghai

Five years in Shanghai, first time seeing snow. Took out my camera and snapped a shot of the snow-covered Ningyuan Building.

So cold. Maybe the further north you’re from, the more you feel the cold. I miss home heating — the feeling of freezing outside but warm inside. Didn’t accomplish anything today because of the cold. Planning to go to Jiading tomorrow — at least there’s air conditioning there. Otherwise I’d literally “die on the road” — and I haven’t even contributed to the glorious socialist cause yet…
